About Us

Nightline is an anonymous telephone service for students which provides listening, support and information services. We operate across both the University of Leicester and De Montfort University, and are open to students studying on campus, distance learners, or students on a year abroad or in industry, either from, or currently visiting De Montefort or Leicester University. We believe firmly in confidentiality, anonymity, not giving advice, being non-judgemental and non-directive in every call. There are many reasons for calling Nightline - no reason is too big or small. You can call Nightline to talk about a problem, to ask for information, or anything else that may be on your mind. We are happy to listen for however long you want. Every call is important, our volunteers are here to listen to you. We are open from 8pm to 8am every night throughout term time.
